(More customer reviews)For the first time in nearly four years (and 4,500 pages) I had to buy a toner cartridge for my LaserJet 6P.The last time I bought one (an HP cartridge), it ran about $55.I was shocked when I began shopping about and seeing the average was $90 for an HP replacement.

Then I remembered we used to use Verbatim cartridges at a place I worked a few years back.I didn't recall ever having any issues with them either.So I checked Amazon and couldn't pass this up.So far I've run about 250 pages and have had no problems.

So why only 4 stars?Because there was no return label in the box for sending my used cartridge to a recycler.I've come to expect this thanks to all the units we use at work.To find someone not doing it seems odd and a bit irresponsible given the level of chemicals in these things.

If you are looking for an economical replacement cartridge, Verbatim is the way to go.Just be ready to hunt down a recycling point to pick up Verbatim's slack in helping keep Mother Earth clean.
